Good Morning! I´m off to Italy for the weekend, I havn´t prepared any posts over the next few day, but I´ll take lots of pictures, and post them as soon as I come back on Tuesday. Have a lovely weekend!
The top and booties are Acne, pants are from Custommade, belt is from Velouria Vintage.
Remember this shoot I did Sandefjord, well it´s out in the newest MAG. Veslemøy Photographed it, I Styled it, and Corinne did the Hair and Make-up. Gorgeous Una from TFM models is the Model (duh..). For bigger pictures, on print you will have to go get the latest issue of MAG!
Don´t forget the contest, where you can win a lovely bracelet from Karma and a gift voucher worth 500 NOK from Gina Tricot!
It has been a lovely and sunny day in Oslo, and I was lucky enough to attend jewelry and watch designer Thomas Sabos press launch of their new range of jewelry, and brand new line of watches. Spalt PR agency, that arranged the event had chosen the beautiful National Gallery as the venue. (This is one of the places OFW should use, erhm)This Edgar Poe inspired line was my favourite, I love the raven and rock crystal necklaces The rings are great (and a little scary..)Editor of Vixen Magazine, Marianne had the best shoes on, they were from TopShop, and was absolutely smashing!Julie from Spalt PR, that arranged the event, was relaxed, happy, and off course wearing a necklace from Thomas Sabo. She had gotten a hold of the new wedge heels from BiancoSilje looked casual cool in her ripped denim shorts, miu miu bag, blazer and slouchy T-shirt. It´s a perfect combo. The shoes are from Bianco, and in addition to being cool, they are very comfortable, she promised. I was in a comfortable mood today, and wore flats. Being at an event with flats however makes me feel uncomfortable... It will be the last time.
So today I wore my beloved moss green suede trousers from salvation army in Stockholm, Top from Weekday, Cardi from Whyred, bracelet from Karma, necklace from Celine Engelstad, and shoes from Diesel Style Lab (RIP).
I´m taking my own advise and wearing knee socks, not over the knees today (thought I´d mix it up..eh) The top is a mens sweater from Thousand Reasons, biker shorts are cut-off tights, Aquarius necklace from Celine Engelstad, knee socks are from Lindex and shoes are Opening Ceremony, bought at the Henrik Vibskov boutique in Oslo.
Dress is by Alberto CavalliLove these looks! All from Net-A-Porters online magazine. PS. they have really good stylists that tells you how to mix the items you look at. I always like what´s being suggested, can´t always afford it, but thats another story...
Is my new obsession, should be worn with a short skirt or shorts. I debuted this look at OFW, but my (old) camera let me down, so I have to recapture my outfit with my Canon G10. In the mean time, have a look at these lovely ladies, this is how its done! I got some from Lindex, that I really like..
Love this Editorial from Spanish Vogue s September Issue. Tanya D lookes amazing even though I really like her with white eyebrows. Its Photographed by Nicolas Moore, and the amazing styling is done by Havana Laffitte
TopShop is opening their first flagship store in Oslo 2010, and apparently they are opening five more stores around Oslo within a few years, they are also planning to open in Bergen, Stavanger and Trondheim. Finally, I´d say. Yippi!
I received these images from Swedish/Norwegian Hunkydory AW 09 campaign, that I thought I´d share with you. I think they are so lovely and the uniform jacket is stunning. This, I think, is what should be shown at OFW, they would get a standing applause from me, thats for sure!
I know it must seem like I live at the Gina Tricot store , it´s not the case though, I have only ever bought something there ones. But I guess I bought a fair amount on that one visit, hehe. This picture is from when I was in the jury at a press conference for Norwegian Fashion Fair under Oslo Fashion Week.
Necklace from Urban Outfitters, Sweater and shorts from Gina Tricot, tights from Pierre Robert, Shoes are from Acne.
Like on any normal shoot the most important thing one needs is hey...NewspapersFeelt like art and crafts classes again, had to drop my head out after all the glue. These are the best Chloe copies I´ve seen. They are from Bronx.H&MCan´t wait to get my hands on these, from H&MI´m a little obsessed with snake prints and things as of late, so these will be in my closet in a very short time.Veslemøy shot the shoe specialAnd we both fell in love with these from Roots, the leather is marvelous, and looks genuinely worn already. They look a little like last years Gucci must haves, but I promise you these are better, cheaper, and thigh high, yeah! These are from Bianco and are actually quite bright blue, and I loves them too..
I am in a hurry, am shooting the shoe special for MAG today, so I´ll see all this seasons new shoes, lucky me. Gotta go, will post some pictures of how it went later on, in the meantime, have a lovely day!
After searching high and low for a publishable preview of The September Issue- A documentary of US Vogue, Anna Wintour, and all the crazyness at the Vogue offices, I found this! It´s from when Kate Moss did the Vanity Fair September Issue in 2006.
Today I´m going to find shoes for the shoe special I am doing for MAG magazine October, so expect a lot of cool heels! We are shooting it on thursday, and I have to prepare the set and pick out which of the shoes we use. I am also doing a piece on blogging for the same issue, and it is so much fun to work on. Have a good day !
The Batlak & Selvig show was definitely the best show at OFW. The collection was beautiful and very well- made and was held at a warehouse were all the guests was placed next to the runway. You might recognize some of the models from previous posts Hannah, Helene and Polina.
I got my new camera yesterday! It´s a Canon G10, and it is amazing. I took some really nice pictures at the show that I promise to post later. The experience of using it is truly life changing, and will do my blog good!
Anyways I´m off to attend a press conference, wish me luck...
Me and my camera are not friends today! The flash took forever to load, and I gave up trying to catch up with the models on the runway. Good news is I´m getting a new one soon. Happy days. Promise to do better tomorrow
I´m wearing a tee from Zara, necklace from Celine Engelstad, Levi´s cut-offs, Rokit bag and Sunglasses, Rizzo boots and my new bracelet from Karma These birds scares me, they are getting bigger and bigger by the year..As I am a stylist, sometimes beautiful gifts fall down on my lap. And to my amazement I was just sent this lovely bracelet . Its called a Karma bracelet, and I´m hoping it will up my Lottery Karma.
I am in love with these great Alexander McQueen shoes I tried on at Browns in London. I love the biker jacket construction and their lovely little details. I saw a picture of Lindsay Lohan wearing them today, but not even that prevents me from wanting them..
As you may or may not know, I am slightly obsessed with danish designer Stine Goya. And her ss2010 collection did not disappoint. She keeps getting better, and I´m staying obsessed. Seriously, how cool is this? These are the things that make me truly happy, now I can go back to sleep with a grin on my face..
Me and Lena was actually going to see the Coco before Chanel film yesterday, but decided to postpone sitting inside in a dark theater to a rainy day. After a few glasses of Prosecco at Aker Brygge, posing feels so natural, hehe...Lena was wearing shoes and top from TopShop, jeans from Gina TricotI wore a tee from Zara, shoes are H&M, belt and leather pants are second hand, bag is from Rokit, and the necklace is from Urban Outfitters.
I promised you some behind the scenes pictures from the magazine I work at, so here it isI was wearing the Gap shirt with sharp shoulder pads, jeans from H&M, Bag is from Rokit in Brick Lane.I love this necklace so much, its the cutest thing. I has this little lettre inside, that says Je t´aime.. Ahhh. From Urban OutfittersMy shoes are really old. From Diesel Style lab (remember that) Anyway got them in like 2004, but really love them (still..)Sweet journalist Mari, is working hardThe girls are checking out the cover for the next issue.Editor in chief Lise impresses with her posing skills
Our little goody drawer..I scored a new foundation from Chanel and a gorgeous eyeshadow from Mac
Why, why, why? When the weather finally is nice, I`m under it... Somehow I got a sore throat and fever. Am feeling a little sorry for myself, saw this photo, and her boots reminded me of my black thigh high ones, I haven´t worn for ages. I will definitely wear them tomorrow.
I´m a huge fan of Asos.com, (who isn´t?). And they`re web shop is one of the most frequented website on my browser. They have gathered some great pieces under the grunge style, I could wear it all! Thought I´d let you know!
A few months back I did a photo shoot, for MAG magazine in Norway. Well it´s out, and I though I´d better share it with you! For bigger pictures, you´ll have to buy the magazine..Photographer is Renate Thorseth, Model is Helene S from Team, Make-up is by Martine Børeng, I did the styling, and Linda-Mari was my assistant.
You know when sometimes you just need a normal pair of shoes to go with your leather pants? Well, today is not that day, and I´m lusting after these wonderful snake print Kurt Geiger lovelies... They would totally go with todays outfit, and I would gladly trip trap down the rainy streets of Oslo...Urmph.. What to wear..
