I´m exhausted, we had a really good shoot today, and in the morning I need to be sharp for yet another shoot, but I´m too excited so I can´t sleep.. I´ll promise to post lots and lots of backstage pics from today when I get back tomorrow. Insomnia go away.. I really need to get some sleep.
In the picture is photographer Birgit and me from todays shoot..
When I was running around pulling styling today, ( I have to shoots over the next two days) I came across this fantastic brocade jacket from Norwegian designer Daniel Sørensen. He makes clothes that are understated, androgynous yet feminine, perfectly sculptured, comfortable yet luxurious... Completely contradictory , I know, but you just have to check it out for yourselves...
I have seen this pilot jacket from
Acne several times before, but last week I did the mistake of trying it on. I´m telling you, if Im getting just one jacket its going to be this one. The fit is great, the collar and the length is perfect. Its one of those jackets that looks even better on... For for all you do, don´t try this baby on, or you are sold, and it eats your brain until you get it..
These are my favorite pieces from the styling on the shoot yesterday. I´m in love with the tights from Patrizia Pepe, I used the white ones, but the black ones are just as nice. The vest is from American Retro and has tiny chain details on the shoulders. The amazing nude shoes are show pieces from Fift Avenue Shoe Repair, and the whole wedge is wood, so they feel like clogs really..
Unfortunately the shoes are not for sale, but everything else you can get from Carpe Diem if you are in Oslo
Sometimes I need do tests for myself instead of thinking about which magazine it will suit, also to get some creativity out of the system. I am so psyched, cause today I did a test with young, but very talented photographer Eirik Slyngstad, and beautiful Tilde from Heartbreak, I am really excited to see the result. I did hair and make-up as well, but it wasn´t too hard as Tilde has the best complexion Ive ever seen. The location is Vigeland Parc in Oslo.
I studied fashion Photography together with
Wendy Bevan at London College of Fashion, and I have followed her work since, and I think she is one of the most interesting photographers around. I am so inspired by her work. This editorial is gorgeous, it is called Victorian Erotica for Muse magazine, the model is Natasa Vojnovic.
When I need a little change, my hair always seem to suffer (with more or less success). This time I went dramatically dark, and I think I kind of like it. Im wearing a jacket from Ann Hagen with hand sculptured shoulders, silk jumpsuit from TopShop and Shoes from Carin Wester.
I almost fainted when I saw these embellished mesh tights at Cristopher Kane for TopShop, how great are they? I have seen some Patrizia Pepe ones at Carpe Diem too, which I will also need to have... And I need thisAnd these, excuse my language, I promised myself I wouldn´t use this term...But,
I DIE!!! (orhf)I am also going to need these two pairs, for when it rains/snows in Oslo..
I love the pants, okay so we have seen a fair share of glittery harem pants already, but I still think these are very beautiful. The construction is impecable and the cuts and fabrics as well. Love the oversized city shorts. I need to get me one of those.
Remember this shoot, from past summer..? I was a lovely day around and about Frogner in Oslo, some of you might recognize Vestkanttorget. Unfortunantly it stays unpublished because it was too summerish for the magazine that was going to have it. I think its a shame, and its too beautiful not to be seen..Hehe, so here it is!
I did the styling, Photographer Renate Torseth, and Corinne did hair and Make-up. Gorgeous Hanna S from Team was modeling, and little miss Martine was our lovely assistant.
I´ve been such a lazy blogger lately so I havn´t shown you the new additions to my wardrobe, here is what I wore out for a meeting today.Jofama was so sweet and gave me this leather jacket. I love that it´s grey, and goes with everything, and it has beautiful details on the shoulders. The leather is real smooth too, so thank you Jofama!I got these thights from my sweet friend Line from Carpe Diem. They are from Patrizia Pepe, and I think I´d like to marry them! Patrizia Pepe has such a great hosary selection, I would get them all if I could.
These Carin Wester boots has already gotten me in to all kinds of trouble, but I love them so, and feel so lucky I own a pair. I promise you´ll get sick of looking at them, because I´m wearing them everyday from now on..
The dress is from Zara and I love love love it, its the only thing I have ever worn 3 (maybe it was 4?) days in a row. Goes with everything, but the sleaves are a little too romantic for me, so I usually wear it with a jacket.
Belt is from 1996, from Morgan and the necklace I´m sure you all recognize is from Oasis.
I havn´t shown you this great blue dress I got at Velouria Vintage for the wedding in Italy yet. I love the colour and the Dynasty under tone, hehe. There are many more pictures from Italy, that I will get to, I´ve also been busy doing fun job-related things that I havn´t had time to post yet.
Me and my boyfriend in Barbaresco, Italy. I wore it with the shoes from Strutt Couture, earrings second hand from Velouria Vintage, and sunglasses are Cat from RayBansAt the L´Oreal Party with Erlend Elias, his jacket is Armani, I styled the dress with Acne shoes, second hand snake print belt, and necklace from Celine Engelstad.
I will post more soon, but today I have a photo shoot, so I have to get going. Have a lovely day!
I was asked to do a little necklace post, and I think I´ve posted some of these before, but I can´t seem to get the out of my mind. I love the details. The one in the middle is my favorite, which is yours?
I went to see the Coco before Chanel film yesterday, it was mesmerizing, and it has made me google all things Chanel. Love this little behind the scene video.. Sorry it doesn´t really fit the screen, don´t know why it spills out so much, if anyone has a clue, please do share.
Good Morning! I´m sorry for the lazy updates over the weekend, I have had a information overload, so I took the weekend off, hehe.. Today I am pulling clothes for a shoot I have tomorrow, so I´ll have to run. Tudeluu
This is what I wore for lunch last week, and I´m wearing a dress from Whyred, boots Second Hand from Tonica, and Second Hand jacket. The bracelet is from Thomas Sabo.
As I was surfing the net looking for necklaces (one of you wanted me to do a post about that) I couldn´t help myself so take a sneak peak at the brand new shoes at net-a- porter. Autumn is here, and these makes me truly glad it is!
I have to admit I´ve fallen in love... With Italy! I´ve been plenty of times before, but this time was magical. I took a sick amount of pictures, so I will give you bits here and there so not to bore you.
These are from the first day, when we went down to Portofino. The sea is bright turquoise and clear as ice.
I´m afraid my outfits are a little on the unimaginative side, but I really couldn´t grasp that it was going to be 30 degrees and clear blue skies as I was packing in cold and rainy Norway. IT WAS SO HOT!I never learn to pack though, I always end up bringing all these crazy things that are really, either uncomfortable or very unpractical. No, I´m not a practical girl, but seriously.. I´m wearing the super soft cotton GAP shirt, Levi´s cut-offs, Rayban´s (Cat sunnies) Havanianas, and Diesel Bag. On the way to Genova we stopped at this little wine bar that we drove past last year when I was here, it has the best view.
If you are ever there you have to stop by to taste the best Bellini ever. It was made from fresh peaches from the garden. Mmmm, life doesn´t get much better than this.Tomorrow, I have a deadline, and a press event. But after that I´m announcing the winner of the contest. So do remember to check in!
PS: I will announce the next contest on Friday.
Also keep commenting, either it´s good or bad, or if there is something you want me to write about.
