I mentioned Elton & Jacobsen last post, the two Norwegian designer sisters who came out with the paneled tights and huge shoulders long before everyone else did. They keep surprising me with their avant garde designs, Solveig one of the sisters trained with Alexander McQueen, and you can tell he influenced the design duo. Elton & Jacobsen has been picked up by TopShop, and is hopefully on their way to designer stardom, so if you are nearby a TopShop you should check them out. I scored a pair of tights and shoes used on the runway, and I love it!
I was asked to show a little more of what Im doing during the day, and today I met photographer Veslemøy to plan exciting future projects. Looking at pictures, magazines and googled. Ill tell you more about our plans when I can.Did I show you my great new tights from one of my absolute favorite Norwegian designers Elton & Jacobsen. It is so comfortable, and really is a party in a pant..Weather is getting cooler, so I wore it with my boyfriends wool sweater, Carin Wester Boots and Second hand fur. (I only use second hand...) Cant remember where the scarf is from..
I L O V E this editorial of Liu Wen by Alexi Lubomirski styled by Julia Von Boehm
Im such a fan of danish brand Gestuz, their campaigns and look books are always so cool. I ve gotten a sneak peak at their upcoming look book, and can I just tell you it looks fab, like a edgy high end glossy magazine. But the clothes causes off course the biggest excitement. The design is edgy, luxurious, beautiful fabrics, cuts, prints and details. AND its affordable (you would never guess by looking at it). These pictures are from their AW 09 look book.
I was very surprised to find my name there amongst all those hard hitters, I feel like Im still a little new in the blog world. But am obviously very very honored to be nominated as one of the best blogs in Norway by Costume Magazine ! So if you like my blog, and you want me to be in the running I would be extremely thankful if you took the time to vote for me :) Thank You!!!!
You can also vote here, if the picture doesn´t work..
Got new shoes! The ones from Din Sko, they are so comfortable, warm and cool, am ecstatic. I wore a nude under dress from Cubus, and Chanel like tights from Lindex. The top is Second hand from Fretex (Salvation Army).
Love Super model Anna Seleznevas outfit here, I need to get me a checked pant asap, and oh, her shoes. This is how I would style it to, in order to get the most focus on the trouser...
This gorgeos editorial is photographed by Sølve Sundsbø for Numero #107, model is the Beautiful Australian Cathrine McNeil. I love the feel in these pictures, but cant help to think that Sølve might have been inspired slightly by Madonnas Frozen video...
I used these when styling last week, and I really want to get myself a pair. Honestly how ridiculously awesome are these? From WonHundred
I just cant get enough of the embellished tights, i love them. I am actually contemplating making myself a pair. Do any of you know, where one can get a fabulous one, like in these pictures, that one doesnt have to spend too much on...Christopher Kane for TopShop is sold out it seems, understandably.
PS. My shoes was to arrive today, which they didnt, am getting a bit anxious about internet shopping again..
The beautiful Editorial of Sasha Pivovarova for Italian Vogue, is photographed by Craig McDean and styled by Edward Enninful
Today I went to lunch with lovely Silje from minmote, weather is cold, but sunny and it was a perfect opportunity to premiere the jacket. Silje was looking lovely as usual in her new suede skirt from Divided Exclusive, jacket from Tonica Vintage, Zara bag and Acne boots. Her sunglasses are perfect too, but I forgot to ask..
I was also wearing a jacket from Tonica Vintage which I L O V E, the tights are from Gestuz and the booties are from Carin Wester. Now, its me and my boyfriends anniversary, so I need to pamper myself for tonight's date...
I was going to post an outfit, but none of the pictures from yesterday came out very good, so Ill try to do better today. Its absolutely freezing in Oslo, Im hanging around in my apt wearing wool socks, a scarf and a beanie. Oh and Uggs, hehe forgot to show them to you, I went to this event a while a go and I got a pair. And say what you want, but they are the most comfortable and warm things Ive ever tried.(Ill show you pictures later). Ok, Im off to lunch...
Anyways, this beautiful editorial is from Australian Vogue, and is taken by photographer Will Davidson, model is Egle Tvirbutaite . Source: FashionGoneRogue
Remember this one? A test I did with Vibeke from Team in what feels like ages ago. The photographer was Kirsti Mørch, make-up by Tina Solberg Torstad, and Hairdresser Andrès Kløvstad, and assistent Linda. The clothes are mainly from TSH, Malene Birger, Gestuz, La Rare,Acne and Jessica Harris.

I just ordered these from Asos.com. Ive only had bad internet shopping experiences before, so Im a bit scared. I am hoping I wont get a mail saying the seller was unreliable this time..(From my ebay experience)
Anyways, I dont like the heel, so Ill def have to reheel them, but I am planning to wear only embellished tights all winter long, and with a chunky pair of wool socks I think these will be just right! Now, back to my money diet...
Susie Bubble captured during fashion week by fantastic Tommy Ton for Style.com.
Its hard to to find someone more genuine in her own taste than Susie, from StyleBubble. She has, a unconventional and fresh look on fashion, she is not afraid to play and have fun with clothes. She is doing her own thing, and it completely works. In my opinion Susie has one of the most inspirational Blogs there is. If you havnt read it yet you have been missing out. Check out Susies inspirational, amusing take on fashion here.
Finally, a show I love! Ive been waiting for Stella McCartney , and it is as I suspected just after my taste. Love the styling, the color combinations with the delicate nudes and the different fabrics. The incorporated cobalt blue, one of the prettiest colors there are, in my opinion... And off course the cuts and flow of the garments. The long grey dress is stunning, and the crisp white shirt combined with the 90s buttoned up skirt reminds me of Ralph Lauren, and I love it!
The Monki store in Oslo cannot come too soon. This is perfect. Need...It....Now! For those of you who haven´t seen it yet their website is worth a visit.
Lucky Lucky, Caroline from Feber has got the Acne jacket in my dreams, but I am on a strict money diet, so I can´t, although I do need a winter jacket. Anyways she looks gorgeous in it... Strolling around Paris (a little envious) PS. Don´t mind the Alexander Wang booties...
This reminds me a little of a shoot I did the other day, where I mismatched patterns, colors, fabrics completely. It works, and I love it! It makes such interesting outfits, and not to mention photos.
This editorial is by Horst Diekgerdes for Numéro October, the model is lovely Monika Jagaciak and the styling (WOW) is done by Samuel François.

We had a great shoot on Wednesday with Vibeke form Team. Vibeke has been working a lot since last time I worked with her, and it was so much fun to work with her again. The Photographer was the talented Birgit Solhaug, her assistant was Silje Katrin, and on hair and make-up was Corinne. I really think this shoot went well, wait for the result..

I was wearing my old shorts from H&M, belt from Lindex, T-Shirt from Urban Outfitters, and the hat is a part of the styling from Style & ButlerThis necklace from Gina Tricot is great, romanitc but edgy as the pearls are set on grey silk type fabric with rough and unfinished edges, Lovely. These boots from Din Sko are amazing, really comfy, yet super cool in a Balenciaga kind of way.The tights in my dreams in black from Patrizia Pepe, and shoes from Din Sko, they look like the pumps from Acne, in a cheaper version..Im getting them!
